Manoir Chamberland’s story begins when Ross Pattee and Dominique Primeau made the decision to purchase a dilapidated old rectory directly from the Catholic Church, having fallen completely in love with it. Initially, the couple had no grand plan for the building, other than to

restore it.

Gradually, Ross and Dominique became increasingly aware that the 10,000-square-foot property was too large for just two people. They were soon inspired to open a small boutique hotel, which they named Manoir Chamberland. The hotel’s title is a nod to Monseigneur Michel Chamberland, who designed and built the magnificent stone structure. The pair aimed to create a bespoke inn that would deliver a level of luxury and excellence that they expect themselves when they travel. As such, Manoir Chamberland is an adult-only, pet-free environment where guests are spoiled with fine linens and exquisite robes. They enjoy their gourmet three-course breakfasts on tables with white tablecloths, sparkling silverware, beautiful china, and embroidered
